"More Than A Roof" began from a passion to highlight the often-unseen stories of those seeking accommodation. As a housing officer, I encounter individuals from all walks of life – ex-offenders, survivors of domestic abuse, refugees, and those battling addiction or mental health issues. This blog aims to shed light on the complexities of their journeys, celebrating successes and acknowledging the difficulties. We believe housing is not merely about bricks and mortar; it's about providing stability, restoring dignity, and fostering opportunities for new beginnings.
